Lifting pumps and pumping stations
When a cellar, utility room or bathroom sits below sewer level, water does not drain on its own: it has to be lifted. The same goes for groundwater rising through the floor after heavy rain. A well-designed pumping station is what separates a dry cellar from an insurance claim.

What we do
Diagnosis and sizing
Flow to be drained, head height, type of water: three figures that determine the pump. A badly chosen pump wears out in months.
Installing pumping stations
Sealed tanks, macerator or sump pumps, non-return valve and high-level alarm so you are warned before it overflows.
Replacing existing pumps
We replace worn pumps without redoing the whole installation when the tank and connections are sound.
Flood protection
Duplicate pump, backup battery, remote alarm: for cellars that cannot afford to take water.
Frequently asked questions
My pump is noisy but no longer drains. What should I do?
The motor is running but the impeller is jammed or the valve is clogged: that is by far the most common fault. Cut the power to the pump and call us. In most cases we resolve it on site the same day.
How long does a lifting pump last?
Between eight and fifteen years, depending on how hard it works and the quality of the unit. An annual service — cleaning the tank, checking the float and the valve — easily adds several years.
Do you come out at night or at weekends?
Yes. A filling cellar is an emergency: we are reachable 24/7 and travel anywhere in Belgium.
